Mildred's
45 Lexington Street, Soho
020-7494-1634
Mon-Sat 12-11pm.

We tried to see if they could healthy vegan up a few dishes but no luck so we ended up with an oil free quinoa plate, which wasn't bad we ended up ordering another one. They have really good vegan booze and the place has a fun crowded atmosphere. Just keep your eyes closed if you're approaching it from the north, they have a sick neighbor who hangs dead animals in the window.

Don't worry, Kristen. I had the burger at Mildred's. You didn't miss out on anything spectacular. It was okay. But just okay. Mildred's was so dairy-heavy, it was hard to navigate the menu as a vegan.

Mildred's was good, but we tried to go to 222 Veggie Vegan first, but failed. By the time we got to Mildred's we were starving.

Audrey had some kind of stir fry. She said it was "all right." I don't think I tried any of it, so I can't say one way or another. Audrey is pretty sure I did have a bite. So... I guess that tells you everything you need to know about it.

We'd read a lot of good things about Mildred's. It was totally a fine place to eat. But I think we were expecting a bit more after all the hype. Looking at these photos here, the food looks really good. It's making me hungry!!!
