Flemings Mayfair Vegan Tea

It was called the Vegan Low Fat Tea, but the low fatness I question since the sandwiches seemed to have vegan mayo, but ya never know maybe it was tofu based, but another one had a pesto, which is hard to fake? The UK really has no idea what low fat is, items with 20 grams of fat are labeled low fat, but none the less a vegan tea that attempts at being low fat is amazing and something you can't pass up! They need AT LEAST 3 DAYS NOTICE to prepare for your visit so don't just show up! Call ahead and make a reservation and they'll tell you when they can get you in. The tea room is a bit buried down in the bowels of the hotel, and a little dated in the back, but the front where the bar is is more fun. It was basically us and some gray hairs, but enjoying an afternoon tea is all part of the experience and we were ECSTATIC to enjoy this afternoon tea. Cucumber Sandwiches, Pesto, Chocolate cake, pears, biscuits... low fat... comparatively maybe! Vegan, I hope so!
